چکیده
(3-Aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES) modified magnetic graphene oxide was synthesized and applied in the adsorption of three heavy metals, Pb(II), Cd(II) Ni(II) from aqueous solution. An approach to prepare GO adopted by using (3-aminopropyl) as a functionalizing agent on nanosilica coupled with form Fe3O4@SiO2–NH2/GO nanocomposite. FT-IR, XRD, BET, UV, VSM, SAXS, SEM TEM were used characterize nanoadsorbents. Batch studies conducted investigate effect solution pH, initial metal ion concentration, adsorbent dosage contact time. The maximum equilibrium time found be 30 min for 60 Ni(II). kinetics showed that onto followed pseudo-second-order kinetics. All data well fitted Langmuir isotherm model monolayer capacity 13.46, 18.58 13.52 mg/g, respectively. adsorbents reused at least 7 cycles without leaching mineral core, showing enhanced stability potential application water/wastewater treatment.

Study on the Adsorption of Heavy Metal Ions from Aqueous Solution on Modified SBA-15
Amino-functionalized SBA-15 mesoporous silica was prepared, characterized, and used as an adsorbent for heavy metal ions. The organic–inorganic hybrid material was obtained by a grafting procedure using SBA-15 silica with 3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane and bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl) phosphinic acid (Cyanex 272), respectively. The structure and physicochemical properties of the materials were cha...
متن کاملAdsorption of anionic dyes from aqueous solution on zeolite from fly ash-iron oxide magnetic nanocomposite
Magnetic zeolite/iron oxide nanocomposite was prepared by mixing zeolite synthesized from coal fly ashes with magnetite nanoparticles in suspension and was used for the removal of Reactive Orange 16 (RO16) and Indigo Carmine (IC) from aqueous solutions. The effect of various experimental parameters such as contact time, pH, adsorbent dose and temperature were investigated. The experimental data...
متن کاملAdsorption of heavy metal ions from aqueous solution by carboxylated cellulose nanocrystals.
A novel nanoadsorbent for the removal of heavy metal ions is reported. Cotton was first hydrolyzed to obtain cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs). CNCs were then chemically modified with succinic anhydride to obtain SCNCs. The sodic nanoadsorbent (NaSCNCs) was further prepared by treatment of SCNCs with saturated NaHCO3 aqueous solution. Batch experiments were carried out with SCNCs and NaSCNCs for th...
متن کاملRemoval of Toxic Cr(VI) Ions from Water Sample a Novel Magnetic Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite
This work describes the synthesis of a novel magnetic graphene oxide composite for removal of Cr(VI) ions. The synthesized nanosorbent were characterized with various techniques such as FT-IR, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), elemental analysis and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). This material is illustrated to represent a viable sorbent for the removal of Cr(VI...
متن کاملAdsorption of Heavy Metals by Graphene Oxide/Cellulose Hydrogel Prepared from NaOH/Urea Aqueous Solution
By taking advantage of cellulose, graphene oxide (GO), and the process for crosslinking using epichlorohydrin (ECH), we propose a simple and novel method to prepare GO/cellulose hydrogel with good potential to adsorb metal ions. GO nanosheets containing carboxyl and hydroxyl groups were introduced into the surface of the cellulose hydrogel with retention of the gel structure and its nanoporous ...
